Welcome to the Menstrual Hygiene Corner App. Your privacy is critically important, especially regarding menstrual and reproductive health data. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our menstrual hygiene app.

The last period date on the app is saved locally on your phone. It is not stored on our servers. Period predictions and fertility window calculations remain exclusively on your device unless you participate in optional check‑in features.

We use your data to:

• Provide period predictions and fertility windows.
• Analyze the app’s usage in different age groups and locations (aggregated, anonymized).
• Improve user experience and product recommendations.

We do not:

• Sell your health data to advertisers or third parties.
• Share your data for marketing purposes.

• The last period date, the next expected period, and the fertility window data all reside only on your device (local storage). We do not have access to them through our servers.
• The data collected during the check-in process (age, location, cycle length, sanitary product preference) is stored on our secure server for aggregated analytics and service improvement.

• Data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).
• Access restricted to authorized personnel only. We regularly review access controls and data minimization practices.

You may have the right to:

• Decline consent to the check-in page, where basic information is required. You can still use core period tracking features without providing optional check‑in data.
• Request deletion of your cloud-stored check‑in data by contacting us (see Section 9).
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time via app settings or by clearing local storage.

Local period data (last period date) can be deleted by uninstalling the app or clearing app data from your device settings.

Our app is not intended for users under the age of 10. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 10. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately to delete it. Parents or guardians who discover that their child has submitted information can reach out to privacy@ondomenstrualhygieneproject.team.

• Locally stored data (period dates, predictions) remains until you uninstall the app or clear app data from your phone’s settings.
• Cloud data (check‑in responses) is retained for 30 days in identifiable form for analysis and feature enhancement. After 30 days, identifying fields are removed and only anonymized aggregated statistics may be kept for internal research.

We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice at least 30 days in advance. Minor updates (grammar, clarification) may be posted without prior notice, but we encourage you to review this page periodically. The “Last Updated” date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised.
